Ariave Satcom provides a wide range of services that allow users with a variety of needs (narrowband to broadband, one-way or two-way)) to make use of Ariave's offering.
Ariave is providing a one-stop shop for all your needs related to IP content connectivity.
Our technology uses hybrid solution such as satellite, wireless local loop, and MPLS-based connectivity via fiber-optic cables to achieve the most reliable & economical solution. Ariave connects between its advance Network Operating Center and various places by the use of a pool of the satellites, covering most of the populated world, allowing immediate and reliable connectivity. Ariave can offer both Star or Mesh topology communications, taking full advantage of the technology it has invested in.

In those areas where local phone services are un-reliable or do not exist, Ariave Satcom offers a wireless system with no dependence on local ground infrastructure, eliminating any obstacle from receiving immediately high quality content such as Data, Voice & Video.
In those places where phone lines exist or regulation issues prevent the use of a satellite return channel, Ariave offers its one-way DVB receive only running along the local ISP return channel capabilities. Ariave can provide & accommodate last mile IP distribution via various methods such as phone lines, Ethernet, coax cables or wireless local loop.

One-Way Satellite IP connectivity - This service is designed for users who wish to receive the downstream content via satellite while making use of the local telephone connection (PSTN) for the return path. Ariave Satcom deploys the Terayon NetStream 2000 DVB LAN product to allow many users to share the satellite bandwidth via a built-in auto-detect Ethernet 10/100BaseT port to link to the customer's network. This robust, standard based satellite gateway features effective and efficient high-speed broadband and Internet connection for Internet Access, Service Providers and Private Network Operators. It features up to 53 Mbps continuously selectable downstream data rates, utilizing any coexisting router, Telco modem or other communication devices as an upstream return link.

Two-Way Satellite IP connectivity - Two services are available per customers requirements. Both allow achieving dedicated or shared connectivity for any IP application running on the network.

1. DVB-S/SCPC connection - This service is designed for users who wish to receive their service via a wireless two-way system, not relaying on local ground infrastructure.
The customers premises unit is a stand-alone PC and acts like a router to distribute both inbounds and outbound content to each user on the network. The unit has a standard RS-232 and 10/100BaseT interface (optional Ethernet V.35) and can accommodate different devices supporting these interfaces. Flexible data rates for both the inbound (32Kbps to 2Mbps per carrier) and outbound (32Kbps to 53Mbps per carrier) are available and can be adjusted at any given time by customer's request. The VSAT comes as a complete RF kit including the indoor unit and external RF supporting equipment (Antenna is optional). The service can support both symmetric and asymmetric data rates for both the outbound and inbound. Shared or dedicated information can be accommodated while Committed Information Rates and Maximum Information Rates are achieved using on-board software processing.

2. SCPC/SCPC - This service is primarily intended for a point-to-point dedicated connection with committed information rate for both sides. Typical customers are private corporations & PTTs that require a clear channel phone lines. The customer's equipment is a standard L-band 2Mbps modem with external supporting RF equipment.

Voice over IP - Ariave Satcom offers voice services as part of its technology infrastructure. Ariave's Network Operating Center is connected to a very large International PBX that allows customers to place international calls through their system at a very low cost. Wireless Local Loop - Ariave Satcom offers for "last mile" connectivity a wide range of Wireless Local Loop solutions. Ariave is deploying into its service solution the large family of broadband products developed by Alvarion, one of the leading technology manufacturers of broadband wireless solutions. In neither areas where no ground infrastructure is available nor adequate, the wireless solution can leapfrog the time consuming and costly task of laying fiber-optic cables, achieving with a fraction of cost a reliable IP distribution local network.

Virtual Private Networks - Ariave Satcom offers to private networks the capability to connect between their Headquarters and their remote locations via our VPN Inter-connect solution. Ariave's Network Operating Center acts in a star topology, enabling to store and forward IP content for point-to-point and point-to-multi-point connectivity. The remote sites can both communicate with the headquarters and with each other (Mesh topology) thus avoiding satellite double hop inefficiency. International Voice & Data content are streamed on a single secured channel achieving cost effective solution to corporate networks. ISP services are also available making Ariave's solution a truly one integrated telehouse service.

Data Storage - Ariave Satcom offers as part of its technology infrastructure true ISP services. The customer can utilize a variety of data storage services such as web hosting, web caching, e-mail servers, and central data storage. Our facility uses the latest in firewall and encryption protection and meets the highest standards in the industry.
